Description

Many times, HR challenges can be handled before they even arise by having clearly written and consistently applied policies for the organization. These range from the simple, such as how PTO will be handled upon an employee’s departure, to the complex, like the basis for employee discipline. In part three of our Reducing Legal Risk in the Workplace series you will hear best practices for creating an employee handbook and policies that reflect the way your organization actually operates.

Join Jenna Shives, Employment & Labor Attorney, as she shares valuable insight to:
·     Review employee handbooks and policies for alignment with actual organizational practices.

·     Analyze organizational policies for consistent application and associated risk.

·     Apply documentation best practices to support effective employee and HR functions.

Plus, earn 1 hour of continuing education credit from SHRM and HRCI.
